and research experience designed
for incoming 9th and 10th graders.
KEY ACTIVITIES
- Collaborate with other peers interested in STEM!
- Personalized workshops and lectures from experienced STEM educators
- Conduct original research projects
- Opportunity to compete at regional, national, and international science symposia
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
- Weekly synchronous online meetings with Program Directors and YSS Educational Interns
- Option to conduct individual or partner projects, depending on cohort size and interests
- Additional online sessions added as needed
PROJECT TOPICS
- Legacy projects – choose to continue the investigation into ongoing YSS research giving your spin on the topic!
- Original projects – working with the Directors you can develop your own area of interest!
- Fine control of molecular messaging in the cell
- Finding potentially new therapies for addiction &
substance use disorders

One-time registration fee upon acceptance into the program: $2500
Monthly program fee: $500/mo
